Today, Real played their first friendly game of this atypical pre-season marked by the coronavirus. The txuri urdin beat the newly-promoted UD Logroñés 3-1 in a match that has allowed the realistas to gain rhythm and recover sensations in their preparation for the restart of LaLiga. An early goal by Willian José from 12 yards put Real front. Portu added a second from the penalty spot and one minute later, added a third from a corner kick just before the break.
After the break, Andy reduced the arrears for the visitors from the penalty spot. The side from Gipuzkoa were dominating the game and had more goalscoring chances. However, the scoreboard remained the same.
Good pre-season test to cope with the demands of the season ahead. Next week, Real will travel to Portugal where they will face Rio Ave FC and FC Famalicao.
