La Real lost 0-2 against Málaga CF at Anoeta. Once again, la Real was victim of their own errors and they handed over points. The two penalties stopped la Real from winning. The txuri-urdin team needed a victory to smooth out their past Liga results. In the beginning, the team did well, dominated and created two clear chances. Fans were poised to celebrate their goals but Oyarzabal’s and Iñigo’s headers went wide. However, the opponent team put their nose in front when they had the chance. This is becoming too regular at Anoeta. Borja converted from the penalty spot. Thus, Málaga took the lead. La Real gave their all out there until the break.
The same old story in the second half, where la Real were dominating and leading nowhere. Willian José handled the ball in the penalty box. Borja took the spot-kick but Rulli blocked it. However, Chory reacted on the first loose ball and put it away. At this point, the game became though for la Real who were doing their best. Except from Willian José’s great play which went wide, all the team efforts were not rewarded.
This defeat frustrates the team. We must get over this bad run of results. There is an important match ahead: the derbi at San Mamés. Aúpa Real!
