La Real does not change. What happened this summer doesn’t matter, it doesn't matter if there are rotations in the line-up nor does it matter who the opponents are. La Real is still la Real. Today they made a great debut at the Nuevo Mirandilla in Cadiz, leaving their own mark. Imanol's side determined their hierarchy to clinch the first three points of the season with a goal by Kubo and they did it in front of a thousand Real fans who were supporting the team in the stands.
The beginning of the league always generates uncertainty. There are always doubts about the teams’ condition with regards to the LaLiga curtain-raiser and also with respect to the rivals but this Real doesn’t seem to be affected by them. They went all out all guns blazing, with authority. With this attitude, they completely dominated the hosts from the opening whistle. However, they didn’t open the scoring until minute 25. Merino provided the assist for Kubo, who with great precision in control and finishing beat Ledesma and put the visitors ahead. For its part, Cádiz didn’t trouble Remiro. An excellent first half for Imanol's men.
At the restart, the realistas continued to subdue the side from Andalusia. The possession of the ball was overwhelming for the visitors and the only thing left to do was to put the game to bed. Merino could have done it, but he headed Aritz’s pass slightly wide. Before, Silva could have added the second with a close-range shot.
