FC BARCELONA 4-0 REAL SOCIEDAD

History repeats itself

Vídeo

The same scenario as fifteen days ago. Just like in the match at the Villamarín, Real were reduced to ten men early on, which completely altered the course of the game. In a play that took place forty meters from the goal, the referee issued a straight red card to Aritz for fouling Olmo, and that’s when everything shifted. It’s already a challenge to compete in Barcelona with eleven players, so doing so with ten is another matter entirely. The final score was 4-0, and it's time to look ahead.

La Real began the match positively, dominating possession and not facing much trouble. They even found the back of the net with a goal from Sergio Gómez, but the goal was ruled out for a marginal offside. Shortly after the fifteen-minute mark, the game took a turn for the worse. Aritz’s red card left the txuri urdin with a daunting uphill battle, it was a match to forget. Barcelona added two goals before halftime and two more in the second half.

With these recurring circumstances, victory seems unattainable. Now, it’s time to focus on Manchester. We are Real.
