Sergio Gómez is now officially a txuri urdin player. Real Sociedad TV visited La Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, where the Spanish national team is training for the Paris Olympics, to talk with him and hear his first impressions. Jon Pacheco and Beñat Turrientes are also part of the training camp
"I'm very excited and eager to work hard to help the team and the Club achieve our goals," Sergio said. "I’ve always admired Real Sociedad and Imanol’s style of play, so I’m thrilled to be here. I want to keep growing and developing as a player, and I’ll give my all," he added. "Wearing David Silva’s number 21 at Manchester City was a privilege for me. He’s a player I’ve looked up to since I was young, and joining the team he played for is an added motivation," he continued. "I won’t be able to join the preseason, and I hope we go far with the national team, but I’m eager to start working with the staff and my new teammates."
