Last Wednesday, Asier Illarramendi and Jon Bautista took off their boots for a few hours and put on the wetsuit. They had a fantastic experience at the Aquarium of San Sebastián. Both players were guided by the Aquarium experts who helped them submerge into the water. New emotions for the txuri-urdin players.
Thanks to the agreement between the Aquarium and Real Sociedad Fundazioa, the footballers dived the waters surrounded by more than seven thousand fish and fifty marine species such as the bull shark, the lesser spotted dogfish or the dogfish. They enjoyed a fifteen minute journey and they had the chance to contemplate the marvelous species. They also dived the 360º tunnel.
It was an unforgettable afternoon at the Aquarium of San Sebastián which is a must visit if you are in the city. The opening times over the easter break are from 10 am to 8 pm.
