Into the next round

Tonight, Real did what they had to do. The txuri urdin beat CD Becerril 0-8 in the first-round of the Copa del Rey. The match venue was the Estadio La Balastera (Palencia). The realistas faced a side from the third tier. However, CD Becerril put in a good performance and gave their all out there. As expected, Real dominated the game and had goalscoring chances. In the 37th minute Real went ahead through Le Normand and Januzaj added a second before the break.

Real were were even most comfortable in the second half and the hosts failed to show the same intensity of the first half. Januzaj scored again and Pardo scored the fourth in the 49th minute. The Belgian scored the fifth with a sumptuous free-kick strike. Right in the upper corner of the net. Two goals by Isak and one by Barrenetxea put the icing on the cake in tonight’s victory.
