We were close to our goal. However, la Real claimed a point from their visit to Madrid in a match which they could have won. The txuri urdin did a very good job in the second half. Portu put the realistas front but Vinicius managed to take a point from this encounter.
It was a very tight goalless first half where The Whites enjoyed the most chances. La Real were good in possession, but Zidane’s side grew into the game. It was Mariano who tried his luck with a header from very close range. Then, Asensio’s left footed shot from the centre of the box was blocked by Le Normand. La Real showed their determination but didn’t give Courtois plenty to worry about.
The txuri urdin took the initiative as the game wore on and with ten minutes gone, Portu opened the scoring with a header from the centre of the box to the top left corner. The scorer gave the visitors a real boost. Nevertheless, the goal ended up going the way of Real Madrid, when Vinícius right footed shot from the centre of the box found the back of the net of Remiro.
La Real saw victory snatched away in final moments but managed to pick up a point. Next up for the realistas is a clash against Levante at the Reale Arena. Aupa Real!
