Real Sociedad and Reale Seguros held the presentationfor the official naming rights of the Reale Arena this evening. The event, held in the presidential lounge, brought together the head figures from both institutions - Jokin Aperribay and Ignacio Mariscal, as well as a considerable number of representatives from Real Sociedad and Reale Seguros.
Reale Arena is the name of Real Sociedad’s new stadium. With the new name, both institutions take another step in a relationship which they have enjoyed since 2012, when then first sponsorship agreement was signed with the club. Once the remainder of the remodelling work has been completed, the new Reale Arena will be one of the most modern stadiums in Europe.
Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay told those present today: “The sale of the stadium’s naming rights is a new source of income which will allow us to continue strengthening the club in an increasing competitive, global environment – one in which we are keen to continue growing while remaining true to our identity”.
Reale Seguros CEO Ignacio Mariscal said the insurance group was proud “to be part of the history of such a legendary club like Real Sociedad, contributing our grain of sand towards a project which boasts a glorious past and above all, a great future”.
