Jon Ansotegi, who has served as the third assistant coach of the first team, will step into a new role next season as the head coach of Sanse. Joining him on the bench will be Imanol Agirretxe, who in recent weeks has already been assisting with the reserve team alongside Iosu Rivas.
Ansotegi enjoyed a long and successful playing career at the club, making 227 appearances over eleven seasons with the first team. After hanging up his boots, he began his coaching career overseeing the second phase of development within the academy, before moving up to the first team staff, where he has spent the past seven years.
Agirretxe, another club icon with ten seasons and 272 first-team appearances to his name, began his post-playing career working closely with academy forwards, from the U16s up to Sanse, while also overseeing the progress of first-team players out on loan.
