La Real slump to defeat at Mestalla tonight (1-0). A not very brilliant match from the txuri urdin condemned them to return empty-handed from Valencia.
It was not a good first half. The txuri urdin did not manage to take the initiative as usual and it was difficult for them to reach the top with clarity. A couple of long-range shots from Rico and Oyarzabal were the best chances for the realistas in the first half. The hosts didn't do much either, but after an overhead kick by Musah and shortly before the break, in a fortunate action for them, they took the lead when Zubeldia deflected a cross by Lino into the net.
The second half started with a chance for Le Normand, who shot from a corner, but Mamardashvili acted well. The side from Valencia responded with a double chance from Castillejo that went wide. The Realistas were not comfortable at any time during the match.
A defeat that hurts and which is a setback for the txuri urdin. Today the team did not do things well and have paid for it. Aurrera, Reala!
