Real Sociedad now knows its opponents for the league phase of the UEFA Europa League. Following today’s draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the Txuri Urdin will face AFC Ajax (home), SS Lazio (away), PAOK FC (home), Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC (away), FC Dynamo Kyiv (home), FC Viktoria Plzeň (away), RSC Anderlecht (home), and OGC Nice (away) in the first phase of the competition. The dates and times for these matches will be announced soon.

Sheraldo Becker will face AFC Ajax, the club where he played in the youth categories. The Dutch side’s coach, Francesco Farioli, previously took part in youth coaching seminars at the Reale Arena. Additionally, Sergio Gómez will face his former team, RSC Anderlecht, where he spent a season. We’ll also have the chance to come up against Momo Cho of OGC Nice and Jonathan Gómez, who currently plays for PAOK FC.
