Our women’s team have landed their second victory of the season in the first match at Zubieta after beating Málaga CF 3-0. Thanks to two goals by Nahikari and one by Soldevilla, Real took the three points home. The girls dominated the match from the very beginning, completed a brilliant first half and got to half-time 1-0. They kept up the good play during the second half and created plenty of chances that ended up in Real’s second goal. At the same time, the squad maintained a strong defense and cancelled out every goal attempt from Málaga CF. Finally, Nahikari scored the third goal after retrieving the ball from a long shot and shooting it into the net from inside the box. After that, even if Real had a few other goal chances, the score stayed 3-0 until the end.
This is indeed a very promising start for our women’s team, with two victories in two matches. Next week we will be facing EDF Logroño, who also was promoted this season.
