In extremis. La Real drew against Villarreal and got one point in added time thanks to Isak, who levelled up the match at the Estadio de la Cerámica in the last move of the night.
Villarreal took the lead in the third minute. Parejo broke the deadlock with a right-footed shot which went just inside the angle of post and bar. Real put in a great performance after the goal. The first chances came with shots from Isak and Oyarzabal. The Swedish’s effort hit the post whereas Oyarzabal’s header went wide. Again, Isak fired home but his shot was deflected out for a corner by Asenjo. La Real went all out in search of the equaliser, but couldn’t get the goal. Just before the break, Alcácer, tried his luck but the ball went just wide of the post. The sides went into the break with the score at 1-0.
The second half kicked off with la Real dominating the game. However, they didn’t create goal scoring chances. The realistas were attacking the opposition box with increased regularity and the goal arrived as Isak slotted home to help la Real steal a point against The Submarine.
This draw marks a turning point. We must return to winning ways! Aupa Real!
