Real Sociedad and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have reached an agreement for the transfer of Gonçalo Guedes to the txuri-urdin club. The Basque side has also agreed terms with the Portuguese forward on a contract running until the end of the 2027–28 season
Gonçalo Guedes (born 29 November 1996, Benavente, Portugal) began his career in the youth system at Benfica. At just 19, he broke into the first team and quickly attracted the attention of top European clubs, earning a move to Paris Saint-Germain.After half a season in Paris, he joined Valencia on loan, eventually signing permanently with the Spanish club in 2018. Guedes went on to enjoy five strong seasons with the che side.In the summer of 2022, he was transferred to Wolverhampton. During the following winter transfer window, he returned to Benfica on loan, and began the next season again with Wolves before ending it on loan at Villarreal. Last season, he completed the campaign in the Premier League, and now returns to LaLiga to bring his talent and attacking flair to Real Sociedad.
