La Real suffered a setback this afternoon in Huesca. The txuri urdin failed to pick up any points and come away empty handed.
It was a weak game but the first half was very entertaining and was played at a high tempo. Both teams lacked precision but had a couple of chances to open the scoring. The first chance for the realistas fell to Guevara, who tried his luck from the edge of the area, but his shot was denied by the keeper. The home side also looked dangerous when Sandro and Mir did their best to beat Remiro, but to no avail. La Real looked to find a way through themselves with a powerful shot from Isak. The game was evenly matched on the whole.
In the second half, unlike the first, the goalkeepers did not intervene. The game lacked precision but the side from San Sebastián tried to win the ball back in the hosts half. Neither team deserved more, but in the final minutes a goal by Huesca condemned Imanol’s team to defeat. It’s a missed opportunity but we have to keep going. Aupa Real!
