The esplanade in Sagües turned completely blue and white yesterday evening to celebrate our 110th anniversary. Hundreds of realistas came down to show their passion for the Txuri Urdin. The youngest fans were the main protagonists on the day – they had a great time enjoying the different activities in a truly spectacular place. Sagües vibrated with an incredible atmosphere from late afternoon right through to midnight.
Our youngest fans enjoyed watching the four-a-side tournament – and there was much more to do than just watch football. There were also party inflatables, games, workshops… And, during the Barrexerka theatre show, Txurdin, our new mascot was presented - to great applause from the crowds. Later on, the party continued with a little Txuri Urdin history. Numerous club legends took to the stage to share stories and anecdotes – their passion and feeing for the club were evident for all to see. Finishing with music – two concerts Izaki Gardenak and Dupla put the seal on a brilliant day. A spectacular evening to celebrate Real Sociedad’s anniversary in the best possible way.
