There was no better way to end the season than with a victory. La Real bid farewell to a dream season. From start to finish, the txuri urdin have been playing wonderfully and without dropping out of the European spots. For the fourth consecutive year, Imanol Alguacil's team has done incredibly well. Europe is becoming a habit and now, the Champions League awaits.
The Reale Arena lived a real party today. First, the match, where the Txuri Urdin defeated Sevilla in an entertaining show decided with goals by Brais Méndez and Cho. Afterwards, the celebration in a stadium devoted to a team that has made them enjoy like never before this season. The match was great with the realistas dominating against a happy and successful opponent. Finishing with a win is always nice and la Real, that played better than the side from Andalusia, took all the three points to get a total of 71. Awesome.
It was also the perfect culmination for Asier Illarramendi's farewell. Our captain played his last match this afternoon and all the Txuri Urdin fans gave him the farewell he deserved.
