The installation work of the structure of the north stand has been finished today around 14:00 p.m. Over the past few weeks, the first structure of the four which will be installed in The New Anoeta, has been assembled on the esplanade that is in front of the north facade.
Two tower cranes lifted the structure. This type of crane is one of the largest we have ever seen. 400 tonnes of high tensile structural steel have been lifted. The construction has been made in Galicia and Madrid.
This metal structure will support the roof and its dimensions are 8 meters wide by 10 high. Its length is more than 150 meters long. The work has been done at 25 meters of height over concrete pillars.
