La Real Sociedad and Deportivo Alavés have reached an agreement over the transfer of Jon Guridi. La Real Sociedad secures a percentage of a future sale.
Jon Guridi (Azpeitia, 1995) has been an example of overcoming adversity in his career as a txuri urdin player. He arrived at Zubieta after having played the renowned Brunete tournament. He played in all the Zubieta's teams and took part in the Youth Champions League to finally make his first team debut on March 18, 2017 in what will be his new home, Mendizorrotza. A few days after his debut, he suffered an injury that forced him to stop. He never gave up and after following a rigorous program of adaptation to the competition, he made his Sanse debut to later get back to his best in a successful one year and a half loan at CD Mirandés. He returned to La Real to become a first team player to all intents, being part of the collective successes achieved in the last two seasons.
