REAL SOCIEDAD 2 - SEVILLA 0

Unbeatable

Our women’s team is on top of their game this season. Today, the squad beat Sevilla FC 2-0 with goals by Manu Lareo and Nahikari. The team kept on their usual stamina and scored within the first few minutes of the match – a beautiful header by Manu Lareo, followed by a penalty by Nahikari twenty minutes later. Real stayed in control of the match and was relentless until the final whistle despite the visiting team’s pressure to score. Our goal chances went up after Ramírez was shown the red card and Sevilla had to play ten versus eleven, but 2-0 was enough to win the three points. The squad’s efficiency and savoir faire secured a sweet victory.

Thanks to its three victories and one draw so far, Real currently holds the second place in the LaLiga table. Now, the team is off to prepare the derby against Athletic de Bilbao, which will be in Lezama in two weeks. Good luck girls!
