Unstoppable

Real Sociedad put on another dazzling performance tonight, comfortably beating Osasuna in a match where the txuri-urdin were unstoppable in attack. Oyarzabal opened the scoring, and with Guedes’ brace, the team now finds itself in a strong position as the season heads into its final stretch.

The game started at a high tempo. Osasuna had the first chance, with a header from Víctor that rattled the post. Real responded almost immediately with two clear chances for Oyarzabal, narrowly missing both times. The captain then stepped up to convert a penalty by Boyomo, extending his legendary status and putting Real in the lead. Moments later, Guedes added a precise strike to make it 2-0, leaving Osasuna reeling as Real dominated until halftime.

The second half kicked off with a stunning individual run by Turrientes, and Guedes fired a powerful left-footed shot to score his second and make it 3-0. Osasuna tried to respond with a couple of opportunities, but Remiro was up to the task. Real continued to control the game, taking their foot off the gas slightly. In the 75th minute, Muñoz managed to pull one back for Osasuna, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.

Another win to continue the magic at Anoeta. The stadium truly is a fortress, and it gives the team an extra boost. Real Sociedad are showing their strength and fans are hungry for more!
