Real Sociedad and Leire Baños have agreed to the extension of the player’s contract, which ties her to the club until June 30, 2021. The previous contract was set to expire this summer. Leire has excelled in each of her seven seasons in the women’s team. Real Sociedad TV witnessed how happy the young player from Irún was: “Real is my home, I joined the team at a very young age and it is great to continue learning here”. Garbiñe Etxeberria, sports manager, stated that “it is very important that homegrown players like Leire and Iraia bet on the club”.
