REAL SOCIEDAD 3-1 RC CELTA DE VIGO

What a feat!

Real Sociedad keeps the joy rolling. Even with ten men for the entire second half, they secured a 2–1 win over a strong Celta side, not just by defending their lead, but by striking back with a second goal shortly after conceding and adding a third in stoppage time. A remarkable feat that earns three more points and keeps the team looking up with confidence.

The match started with a clear opportunity for Bryan Zaragoza, who narrowly missed the target, and Jon Martín responded with a header that went wide. Shortly after the fifteenth minute, following a pass from Turrientes to the edge of the box, Mikel Oyarzabal curled a left-footed shot into the net to open the scoring. From then on, Celta held slightly more possession, but posed little real threat to Remiro. The game shifted in first-half stoppage time when, after a VAR review, Ćaleta-Car was sent off for a tackle in which he touched the ball before making contact with his opponent’s foot.

In the second half, down to ten men, Real had to hold their ground. Celta controlled possession, while Real defended resolutely and pushed forward whenever they could. The visitors eventually equalised through a Borja strike, but almost immediately, just like against Barça, Real responded. Mikel Oyarzabal, as always, mirrored his first goal with a second, giving the team renewed energy. Real stayed solid at the back and seized attacking chances, even coming close to a third with a header from Óskarsson. In stoppage time, Odriozola surged forward to win a penalty, which Brais calmly converted. A brilliant display of skill, determination, and courage.

Three more valuable points, earned in a game full of sacrifice, teamwork, and merit. The momentum continues.
