Real ended the year with a very important win at El Sadar in a crazy match in which they took the lead before the 30th minute (0-3). Osasuna fought until the end but its the realistas who take the three points home (3-4) in their last match of 2019.
Imanol’s team played a perfect first half where the best chances fell to the realistas. The first of them came in the 15th minute when Oyarzabal put us front after an assist by Ødegaard. Soon after, Portu went past a number of opponents in an impressive run, which ended with a shot that found the back of the net. Before the 30th minute, Ødegaard launched a ground-to-air missile into the upper corner of the net. Just amazing. In the last play of the first half, Aridane reduced the arrears for the hosts.
The locals completely dominated the second half. Just after the break, Chimy Ávila added a second and Real were a bit discouraged. However, little by little, the team from San Sebastián turned the situation around. Then, Osasuna were reduced to ten men. Roncaglia was sent off, leaving his side a man down. Isak scored the fourth for Real after a corner kick but the hosts never give up and scored a third that threatened on the counter. The final moments weren't ideal for the heart but Real made it.
Great victory to end 2019 and continue at the top of the table. 2020 looks very exciting. Aupa Real!
