Real Sociedad’s women’s team was awarded a special prize at the Gipuzkoa Sports Press Association Gala for winning the Copa de la Reina title. Yesterday’s edition was special as, for the first time in history, it was held at the Reale Arena. Gipuzkoa sportspeople attended the Gala. The first team players Mikel Oyarzabal and Igor Zubeldia, the field hockey team and the athlete Iraitz Arrospide were awarded for their achievements last season. Last, all the people who attended the gala paid a living tribute to the families of the journalists Gorka Reizabal and Paco Izquierdo.
