We want to continue playing in Europe and it was vital to win today and go to Salzburg with batteries charged. Today, la Real won against Levante in a match where the donostiarras were superior. Prieto, Juanmi and Canales sealed a needed and stimulating victory before the continental appointment.
A win meant climbing away from the danger zone, implied starting our way up the table and above all, gave us reason for optimism ahead of Thursday’s clash. From the beginning, la Real started off with high intensity and in the 10th minute, took the lead thanks to a penalty by Xabi Prieto. Soon, the game was on our side and Levante didn’t create many chances nor got very close to Rulli. The locals were creating chances and finally, Juanmi received a great ball and scored the second for la Real. The match was on track before the break.
In the second, the blanquiazules were in control, they didn’t lower their guard and tried to score more goals. The third goal was a masterpiece. Oyarzábal provided the assist and Canales expertly added the third home.
This win is the best way to face the European qualifying round. We know that it will not be easy but we must believe in ourselves. Let’s go for it! Aúpa Real!
