David Silva arrives at Real to prove his quality, talent and experience. The Manchester City legend leaves the team after a decade at the club. Silva (Arguineguín, 8th January 1986) arrived at City from Valencia’s academy. First, he was on loan at Spanish Second Division side Eibar for one season. Then, he came to prominence in a loan spell at Celta Vigo in 2005/06. Afterwards, he spent four years at Valencia CF. His exploits earned him a ten-year contract at Manchester City where he was one of the key components of City’s winning midfield. 119 games and 31 goals for Valencia and 77 goals bagged in 303 games for City. A garlanded career in which he won two European Championships and a World Cup with the Spanish National team. Silva has won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three Community Shield trophies, five Liga trophies and one Copa del Rey.
We are honored to have such an outstanding player in our team. He will strengthen Real’s offensive success and will bring lots of joy and happiness. Ongi etorri, welcome David.
