Tonight la Real have drawn in one against RCD Espanyol at Anoeta. The txuri-urdin players could have won the match in the second half but had to content themselves with a draw.
It was difficult for la Real to get into the game. The team didn’t play with fluency and the opponent team took advantage of it. Baptistao scored the first goal with a header. Little by little, the realistas dictated play but without continuity.
When they were dominating the match, they deserved to even the score but Pau López was unstoppable. He first stopped Carlos Vela´s header and a shot from Oyarzabal went to a corner kick after his save.
During the second half, the realistas made all efforts. They defended well and Rulli stopped any possible goal. They didn’t deserve to lose, twenty minutes before the end of the match, Januzaj successfully provided the assist for the goal and it was Illarra who scored.
One point is not enough because la Real have made efforts to get the best result and win at Anoeta. Now, we must think of Copa del Rey. We will play in Lleida next Thursday.
