We had a great start in Anoeta. It can´t get any better than this! Real got its first triumph home on a superbly match. The team deservedly defeated Villarreal, basing the match on great football and goals. Willian José, Xabi Prieto and Juanmi succeeded in getting the second victory of the year. To begin the season, two out of two is something that was not accomplished since the subchampionship. This year looks good!
The victory in Vigo caused great excitement about the debut in Anoeta. The UEFA Europa League group stage draw has cheered this special day. Fans came to Anoeta looking forward to seeing good football and the team gave them a superb match. Even tough Villarreal had some chances in the beginning, the local team reminded us of the best Real from last year, even in August. Willian José with a ‘killer’ goal, Xabi Prieto in his 500 official game and Juanmi´s masterpiece, left the match ready for judgement before the half-time.
In the second half and leading the match, the txuri-urdin players kept trying to score but kept another pace. Occasions continued coming up and Vela and Oyarzabal had chances to score. Almost at the end of the match, there were more applauses due to Agirretxe´s attendance. Fans could not wait to applaud him! The player from Usurbil has played home again. More great news!
