On Saturday we welcome Valencia CF to Anoeta. Txuri-urdin forward Juanmi looked ahead to the game and analyzed the opponents with Real Sociedad TV.
Juanmi began by reflecting back on the team’s last game, against Deportivo: “We knew that we were in for a difficult game, against a complicated rival who really needed to win. We were in a good dynamic but these things happen in football; on Saturday, we have another difficult game against a quality team – Valencia. And we will be looking to win that game from the first minute. Valencia have a squad and players to be much higher up the table than they are, but things haven’t been turning out for them. They will be coming here to give everything they have to turn their situation around. But we will be starting like we have in recent games, with the idea of gifting our fans all three points”.
Juanmi gave his appraisal of Valencia, who were held at home to Málaga last weekend and currently lie 17 in the table. “They are a side with a great deal of quality – especially in midfield and attack. It’s going to be a complicated game – hotly-contested from the first minute and we will need to be fully alert. We too have our own qualities and we will be drawing on that and our style of football just like we have been doing lately, with the aim of taking all the points”, he ended.
