After last night’s game at Riazor, the first team squad returned to work today in a session which started at 16:30 hours on José Luis Orbegozo pitch in Zubieta. Those who started yesterday’s game wound down with light recovery exercises - Xabi Prieto and Carlos Martínez were taken through their own personalized programe and underwent physiotherapy inside the training facilities while the rest of the player trained at a higher tempo. Those on the injury list continued with their respective rehabilitation programmes. The realistas will rest tomorrow and return to Zubieta on Thursday to prepare for this weekend’s home meeting with Valencia CF (Saturday 16:15 hours).
