The Club’s Gold and Diamond Badge

This afternoon, Aritz Elustondo made his final appearance as a txuri-urdin in front of the Anoeta crowd. Ahead of the match, the defender was presented with the Club’s Gold and Diamond Badge, the highest distinction awarded by Real Sociedad. Club president Jokin Aperribay handed over the honour in an emotional ceremony.

Joined by his wife, Idoia, and their children, Luken and Jakes, the captain was given a heartfelt standing ovation by the entire stadium, as the fans paid tribute to one of the club’s great figures.
