Thinking of LaLiga

This afternoon, Real played their last pre-season friendly at Berazubi. The txuri urdin faced Eibar in the Euskal Herria Txapela final. The armeros took the win (1-2).

The match started well for the visitors, who were creating danger. However, Isak opened the scoring in the 15th minute after leaving behind three rivals and beating Yoel. Later, the equaliser came after Oliveira scored with a header after a corner kick.  Real had a chance before the break but there were not many scoring chances in the first half.

The visitors continued strong in the second half, but Imanol Alguacil’s team created dangerous chances. Isak had a similar chance but this time his effort was saved by Yoel. It seemed that the game would be decided by penalties but in the 74th minute De Blasis shot a powerful shot from the edge of the box and sentenced the game. 

Real has completed their pre-season. Next up for the txuri urdin is the start of LaLiga, against Valencia at Mestalla (Saturday, 17th August at 19:00). Aurrera Reala!
