REAL SOCIEDAD 1-0 REAL VALLADOLID

A fortress

Vídeo

The Reale Arena is becoming a fortress. Tonight, Real got their seventh straight win at home (3 wins in Copa) after beating Real Valladolid with one goal by Januzaj in the second half.

The first half was a bit monotonous. Real dominated the game but were not very clinical. There were few chances on goal. Real Valladolid were well set up on the pitch and the goalkeepers didn’t have to intervene much in the first half.

The second half started all good. Isak could have opened the scoring with a header, but Masip denied him. On their behalf, the pucelanos tried their luck through Enes Unal but his shot went just wide. Real kept fighting and finally received just reward. Real took the lead thanks to a brilliant header by Januzaj. The most difficult part was done. Imanol’s team put in a good performance in the last 30 minutes of the match as they defended well sitting deep. Three valuable points for us.

After this win, Real have options to secure a place in Champions. The best is yet to come. We are looking forward to Wednesday’s match in Miranda. Aupa Real!
