REAL SOCIEDAD 0-0 SEVILLA FC

A little closer

Vídeo

All will be decided at the Metropolitano. After tonight’s draw against Sevilla, Imanol’s side depend on itself to achieve a much-desired European spot.

The txuri urdin completely dominated the first half. The hosts played well whereas the visitors didn’t attack the realistas’ area and didn’t put the scoreline in any serious danger. Imanol’s team did well on the wings and created the first chance through Merino, who tried his luck with a rocket of a strike from the edge of the box. Goalless at the break and all to play for.

The txuri urdin started the second half in fine form. The clearest chance was for Portu but he sent his shot on to the crossbar. The visitors made some changes which improved their physical condition but it was Real who had the chances. Willian José was in a one on one with Bono and was gifted with an easy chance to capitalise, though the chance was squandered. That was a foretaste of what proved to be the winning goal. Ocampos had a chance in stoppage time but Moyá pulled off an stunning save to deny him.

A draw was a good result, specially given the results of today’s LaLiga games. Real is sixth and depends on itself. We can do this! Aupa Real!
