Big game at Stamford Bridge

Real Sociedad have a high-profile friendly lined up for August. The confirmation that the opening league fixture has been pushed back from August 16th to the 29th has opened the door for a marquee encounter on the Feast of the Assumption.

The txuri urdin will make a return trip to England to take on Chelsea FC, managed by Xabi Alonso. It will be the final pre-season outing before LaLiga gets underway six days later, away at Real Betis in Seville.

The match will be played at the iconic Stamford Bridge, with kick-off at 2:00pm local time.
