Real didn’t deserve to lose at the Camp Nou tonight. The txuri urdin squad were well set on the pitch and had chances on goal. They deserved more but VAR awarded a controversial penalty to Barça which left the realistas without options.

The players from San Sebastián stepped out onto the pitch with bravery and great motivation. Real created some chances on goal. Portu almost opened the scoring but his shot at goal did not find the back of the net. Messi had a chance from inside the box but Remiro pulled off a stunning save do deny him.

The pattern of the match continued in the second half. Real had the possession and chances continued to come and go for both sides. With ten to go, a late Messi penalty was the difference between the two sides.
