Real sociedad 3-0 deportivo alavés

Fun and enjoyment

Vídeo

This team really is a joy to watch. Tonight, they outplayed Alavés in an intense game in which the whole of the team put in a great collective effort. Two goals from Oyarzabal and another from Willian José allowed the txuri urdin to move up the table.

Real Sociedad were by far the superior side on the night. The Gasteiztarras hardly troubled Remiro on his debut – thanks to solid defensive work from the whole of the team. An incessant wave of attacks from the Donostiarras produced three goals in the first half – two for Oyarzabal and a header from Willian José. Odegaard’s sensational through ball was decisive in the opening goal; the captain delivered an equally brilliant cross for the second and then kept a cool head to rifle in the third from the spot.

Imanol’s men continued to enjoy themselves in the second half – and they weren’t the only ones. It was pure entertainment for the Reale Arena with fans enjoying the spectacle. They were unable to add to the score despite having several chances, the clearest was the penalty which Portu missed in the dying moments. He’ll have to wait for another day to open his goal scoring account.

It’s a third consecutive win which fills every realista with hope. LaLiga has only just started and there is still a long way to go but so far, the sensations couldn’t be much better. We have to continue this way. Aupa Real!
