La Real couldn’t emerge victorious from Mallorca. The txuri urdin took the lead in the first minutes but the hosts equalized in the second half. The realistas are still unable to achieve a victory and stop the run of bad results.
The match got off to a great start. Oyarzabal tried his luck with a good volley but it was Carlos Fernandez who opened the scoring with 3 on the clock. After a good combination between Brais and Silva, the striker from Seville shot towards the left post to score the first goal. Imanol's men were far superior in the first half, dominating the ball and not allowing the home side to have any chances.
The start of the second half was different from the first. Thanks to an unfortunate play by the txuri urdin defense, Mallorca managed to equalize with a goal by Lee Kang In. With 15 on the clock, the referee disallowed a header by Le Normand and la Real took back the control of the match. The realistas did not deserve to return home with just one point, but soccer is not always fair. Despite trying up until the final whistle, the side from San Sebastián failed to create chances to win the match. In fact, the hosts enjoyed a dangerous occasion that could have put the game to bed.
