Real Sociedad continues to gain pace in their first friendly games. Tonight, the txuri urdin team faced Nottingham Forest in the first of the two matches that they will play in England this weekend. The realistas drew 2-2 in a match where the hosts were more settled as they will begin the Championship on August 3.

The locals were taking the lead at the end of the first half (2-1). Worral opened the scoring as he steered the ball home from the left-wing corner. Shortly after, Roberto López evened the score after an assistance from Portu. Then, Grabban scored to put the British back in front. A heavy workload is noted, which is normal at this period of the summer.

In the second half, Real got up to speed. Imanol replaced his whole starting XI for the second half and the squad got off to a good start as Djouhara, a player from Sanse, scored the equaliser just before the final whistle.

Good test to get in shape. The british opponents are at an advanced stage which could only be of benefit to the realistas. Tomorrow, the txuri urdin team will play another friendly against Millwall.
