Toshack to receive gold and diamonds badge

John Benjamin Toshack will be honored with the Gold and Diamonds Badge of the txuri urdin club ahead of the upcoming match against Real Madrid — one of his former teams. The Welsh coach, one of the most influential figures in Real Sociedad’s history, returns to Donostia for this well-deserved recognition.

Toshack, the second coach with the most matches in the club’s history (386) and winner of the 1987 Copa del Rey, will receive this tribute from the txuri urdin family, as this Sunday marks 40 years since his debut on the Real bench.
