This afternoon, the Reale Arena hosted a visit from the 2030 FIFA World Cup bid committee, which includes representatives from Morocco, Spain, and Portugal. This visit was part of a series of inspections of various stadiums competing to host World Cup matches.

The joint delegation featured members from the three national football federations and specialized Business Units created for this bid, accompanied by FIFA officials. Leading the FIFA group was Nicholas Rozenberg, while María Tato, Jorge Mowinckel, and Fernando Sanz from the RFEF's Steering Committee welcomed their Moroccan and Portuguese counterparts. The visit also included Juan Fernández Carnicer from the Higher Sports Council (CSD), representing the Spanish Government, Gorka Iturriaga, the Director of Physical Activity and Sport for the Basque Government, and Kepa Allica, the Secretary-General of the regional football federation.

Real Sociedad, along with local institutions, warmly received the World Cup bid delegation. In the absence of Jokin Aperribay, who is on the Japan tour, Vice President Angel Oyarzun acted as host, accompanied by San Sebastián's mayor Eneko Goia and the Deputy of Culture, Cooperation, Youth, and Sports, Goizane Álvarez. Íñigo Letamendi, Secretary-General of the Gipuzkoa Football Federation, was also in attendance.

Andoni Iraola, the club's Director of Presidency, along with Izaskun Larzabal and her team, detailed the capabilities of the Reale Arena, a fully renovated stadium still undergoing improvements, particularly on its exterior. The Real Sociedad committee, along with the support team for the bid, completed the visit with a stadium tour and a cocktail reception with the FIFA delegation.
