Next Wednesday 13, la Real Sociedad will hold its Regular Stockholders Meeting (second call). The action will take place at 19pm at the Kursaal Palace in San Sebastián. The point to be dealt with will be the yearly financial statements (16/17) and the 17/18 budget.
Aditionally, the third item on the agenda will be the apointment of the members of the Board of Trustees. The number will be decided according to Art.22 of the Articles of Association.
The proposal will be submitted to voting and includes changes in the members of the Board of Trustees. On the one hand, José Luis Goñi, José Antonio Lizaso, Juan José Arrieta and Nekane Soria will cease to be managers. We would like to thank them for their work during these nine years directing la Real and we wish them all the best for the future. Last June, Gurutz Linazasoro resigned because of personal reasons.
The new Board members to submit to vote are the following persons:
- Nerea Aramburu Eizmendi. She is from Donostia and is 44 years old. She is graduated in Economics and Business studies (University of Deusto, San Sebastián). At present, she is economic-financial advisor and directs her own consultancy.
- Javier Igarza Pérez. He is 44, lives in Bergara and is graduated in Economics and Business studies (UPV/EHU). Since 2002, he is General Manager of Reiner.
- José Ramón Fernández de Barrena Bermejo. Born in Irún, he is 49 years old. Graduated in Economics and Business studies (UPV/EHU). He holds a MBA (ESADE Business School, Barcelona). Currently, he is the General Manager of Grupo Uvesco.
- Maite Azcoaga Rodríguez. She was born in Donostia-San Sebastián, she is 34 years old and is graduated in Economics and Business studies (University of Deusto, San Sebastián). She is Finance Head at Jamai Technical Services. Maite Azcoaga played for la Real Field hockey team during 19 years and was the team captain in the last seasons. She won a league and one Copa de la Reina.
- Fermín Altuna Igartua. He was born in Donostia San Sebastián and lives in Hondarribia. Fermín Altuna is 58 years old and is a businessman.
- Alejandro Pereda Fernández. He was born in Donostia San Sebastián years ago. Bachelor of Law from the university UPV/EHU. He is lawyer and property manager.
Therefore, it must be remembered that the persons who will be submitted to vote for the new Board of Directors at the Meeting next Wednesday are:
