Europa League round of 32 first leg

Clash to be played in Turin

La Real were set to face Manchester United at the Reale Arena on Thursday 18 February. However, the Real Sociedad-Manchester United’s UEFA Europa League round-of-32 tie against will now take place at Juventus's Allianz Stadium in Turin, it has been confirmed.

The game has been moved to Italy due to the fact that Spain has extended the UK travel ban to February 16 due to the coronavirus situation in the UK. The travel ban is under constant review and given the existing uncertainties, the decision has now been taken to move the game to Italy.

Thus, with the agreements with UEFA and Juventus FC, and once the permission of the Italian government has been obtained, the match against Manchester United will be played at the Juventus Stadium in Turin on February 18 at 18:55.

La Real Sociedad deeply regrets any inconvenience which resulted from this change and wants to thank Juventus for their support and agreeing to host the match in question.
