La Real Sociedad, like UEFA, RFEF and LaLiga, strongly condemns the recently published proposal for the creation of a new competition promoted by 12 European clubs.
La Real Sociedad believes that this decision would be likely to prove detrimental to European football and supports and defends a merit-based competition.
La Real, UEFA, RFEF, LaLiga and the rest of the clubs hope that this situation is redirected for the sake of football supporters and football itself.
