Farewell, Ion

This week, the txuri-urdin family suffered a great loss with the passing of Ion Gómez, a colleague, a nutritionist and, above all, someone deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

At Zubieta and at the different grounds where our teams have played in recent days, the club has paid tribute to Ion in the way he deserves: together, with respect, affection and fond memories of all the good times we shared. Players, coaching staff and club employees all took a moment to remember him and pay their respects, united in their affection for him.

His warmth, professionalism and generosity towards others will forever remain part of this club’s memory.
