Real Sociedad and Roberto Olabe will keep walking together. Today they have signed the renewal that unites the parties until the end of the 2025-26 season. The extension of the Director of Football's contract was signed this afternoon at the headquarters of the Reale Arena.
Roberto Olabe joined the txuri urdin club’s technical staff in April 2018. Since his arrival, the Club has been growing by leaps and bounds. Along with president Jokin Aperribay and Imanol Alguacil, Olabe is building an ambitious, competitive Real that gets the txuri urdin family’s hope up day after day.
With Olabe as Director of Football, the first team has qualified for the Europa League for three straight years and won the 2020 Copa del Rey title. He has helped to achieve great things and to put the team in the top spots of LaLiga. His continuous and tireless daily work in Zubieta has consolidated the Club in an enviable position.
At the moment, the team is third in LaLiga and has qualified for the round of 16 of both the Europa League and the Copa del Rey. Another season full of emotions awaits us.
